Convert Edward Jones brokerage statements (PDF or scanned) to Excel, CSV, QBO or OFX, reconciled against the value on end date. Free for 20 pages a month.
Quick answer
Download your Edward Jones brokerage statement as a PDF from Edward Jones Online Access under Statements, upload it to StatementPilot, and export Excel, CSV, QBO, OFX or QIF. We check that the "Value on Start Date" plus every transaction equals the "Value on End Date" so you know nothing was missed.
What a Edward Jones brokerage statement looks like
Edward Jones statements show Investment and Other Activity, with dividends, withdrawals and money-market activity listed by date.
US statements usually open with an account summary (beginning balance, deposits, withdrawals, fees, ending balance) followed by transaction sections and a daily balance table.
How to convert a Edward Jones statement
- Sign in to Edward Jones Online Access under Statements and download the statement for the period you need as a PDF (not a screenshot).
- If the PDF is password-protected, open it and save an unprotected copy first.
- Upload one or several months to StatementPilot. Scanned or photographed statements are read with OCR.
- Check the reconciliation panel: the "Value on Start Date" plus deposits minus withdrawals should equal the "Value on End Date".
- Export to Excel or CSV for analysis, or QBO/OFX/QIF to import into QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop and Quicken.
Dates, amounts and account numbers in the US
Amounts use a period for decimals and commas for thousands (1,234.56). Withdrawals are often shown with a minus sign or in a separate column. We read the date order from the statement itself and default to MM/DD/YYYY for United States, so 03/04 is never silently swapped.
Only the last four digits of the account number are printed on most pages; the full routing number appears on checks, not in transaction rows. Only the masked or last digits are carried into QBO/OFX files, as those importers expect.
What gets extracted from a Edward Jones statement
For brokerage statements we extract the cash activity — deposits, withdrawals, dividends, interest, fees and trade settlements — as dated transactions with a running cash balance. Position and holdings tables are not exported as transactions.
Why statements are still needed
Banks must provide periodic statements under Regulation E for electronic transfers, and most keep 7 years of PDF statements available online.
