About StatementPilot

We build one thing: the most trustworthy way to turn a bank statement into data you can import.

Why we exist

Bank statements are still the source of truth for bookkeeping catch-up, loan files, audits and legal disclosures — and they still arrive as PDFs. Retyping them is slow; generic PDF-to-Excel tools are fast but silently drop rows, merge descriptions or flip signs. The result looks fine until the books don't balance.

StatementPilot was built around a simple rule: a conversion isn't finished until it reconciles. Every statement is checked against its own opening and closing balance, running balance and printed totals, and anything that doesn't add up is shown to you before you export.

How we work

  • Tested against real formats. We maintain notes on 122+ institutions in our bank directory and test exports by importing them into the software they target.
  • Privacy by default. Original files are encrypted, deleted automatically and never used to train AI models. Read the security overview.
  • Honest content. Our guides follow a published editorial policy; comparison pages state where alternatives are the better choice.
  • Fair pricing. A permanent free plan, transparent page-based pricing and no charge for pages that fail.
